History 

AISA Civil Inc. was founded in August 2001 to meet a growing need in the water and wastewater industry for companies to provide Construction, Design, and Design/Build services. AISA Civil was formerly known as BT Construction, a leader in the utility construction industry in Colorado for over 20 years. John Turner, co-founder and former President of BT Construction, started AISA Civil with many of BT Construction's most experienced Project Managers, Superintendents and Foremen.

The construction professionals at AISA Civil have successfully completed over 500 projects totaling $260 million all along Colorado's Front Range (Ft. Collins to Trinidad) and in locations as far west as Winter Park, Vail, Minturn and as far south as Durango.

John Turner – AISA Civil President

 John has been providing water and sewer pipeline construction services to the Colorado Front Range for over 25 years.  John co-founded BT Construction in 1980 and as its President helped grow the company over the next 20 years into one of Colorado’s premiere utility construction firms. In 2001 John founded AISA Civil. John has extensive knowledge of Colorado subsurface conditions and effective and efficient pipeline construction techniques.  John’s experience with the Colorado utility construction industry is an invaluable asset for any utility project.  

Tony Lovato – AISA Civil Project Superintendent

 Tony has over 25 years experience in Colorado utility construction.  Formerly with Tierdael Construction, Tony joined AISA Civil to oversee the day-to-day operation of multiple crews on various projects. Tony’s ability to anticipate problems, implement a variety of construction techniques and manage multiple crews makes him a key element on larger, complex projects.  Tony also has extensive construction experience in Colorado’s growing coal bed methane gas development and has become instrumental in providing quality pipeline construction experience to local gas companies.

Joe Barger - Aisa Civil Foreman

Joe has worked in Colorado with John Turner for 15 years, and has established himself as a key member of AISA's construction team. Joe brings great versatility to any project. An expert at tunnel boring, pipelining, mechanical installations, and a certified welder, he has rightfully earned a reputation  as a take-charge leader and problem solver.
